About GOBcake.
GOBcake (noun) a small, fun cake on a stick that fits in your gob! (more commonly known as a cake pop)
I can turn anything into a cake pop- if it will go onto a stick I will make it! From simple designs such as sprinkle balls and logo pops to characters, products, people and everything in between! I have turned so many things into cake pops over the years, I'm always looking forward to something new. No request is too weird!
GOBcake may be a small operation but it is a safe pair of hands!
I spent 2020-2024 as Production Manager/Creative Director/content creator at a popular London cake pop bakery.
Recent clients include Disney, Primark, Octopus Energy and Sega. I have worked with many, many brands large and small over the years including Google, L’Oreal, Nickelodeon, Pokemon, Sanrio, and my designs were stocked in Selfridges. (I've had the odd celebrity client too). I am ready and equipped for orders of thousands of pops!
Everything is handmade with care from the cake to the final product. As a sensitive soul, it is important to me to conduct business and life in a way that quality and integrity are equal to profit!
I will always try my best to work to your budget and there are always plenty of options so don't be shy to mention that!
UK-wide Shipping available. We have bases in Northumberland and London.

Meet the Gob Behind GOBcake
Hey! I'm Tori - a 31-year-old artist and the owner of GOBcake.
I have a degree in Fine Art and am still active with DANKcollective, bringing you, weird, fun performances. I also love food and have been baking since I was tiny.
I made my first cake pop 6 years ago in preparation for my trial shift at POP Bakery. I later found out that I was more of a personality hire but I turned out to be pretty good!
6 months after I started, the then owner asked if I would like to take over the running of the business because she was about to have the first of her two kids. To which I said, I'm sure I could?
This was in 2020 just before covid hit. By the time I took over in July of that year, I was feeling woefully under-prepared as I hadn't worked during lockdown. I had 2 weeks to refresh my cake pop skills and learn how to run the business!
Although the business had had many employees over the years, due to covid times and other factors, when I first took over, I was working alone. I baked the cakes, made and shaped the cake dough, dipped, painted and finished the pops, answered emails and phone calls, packed and sent out all the orders and had to mop the floor at the end of the day!
There were days I considered sleeping there because it had got so late, days that I had to bribe delivery drivers to wait for me to finish packing and a few disasters averted!
A few months of that turned into 4 years spent as Production Manager/Creative Director/the hands in all of the online content. I slowly hired more people starting with one of my best friends and at it's peak I was responsible for 9 employees.
Alas, nothing can stay the same forever and the business was sold on. Having always wanted my own business, I left in 2024, came back to my family up north to build my workshop and I now commute weekly between here and London, where I have lived for 12 years.
It's just me now (and occasionally my lovely mum) which feels so easy after running a production that size. My values as a business owner for myself and any future employees are maintaining a good work-life balance, fair pay and rewards for hard work and generally treating people how you would like to be treated.
It feels strange to be back at the beginning of another long journey but I've come far in 1 year. You never know which email or message is going to be your next big, exciting thing!
And if you've ever wanted to start your own business, I would say, go for it! I didn't feel prepared to take over POP, I didn't feel prepared to start Gobcake but you learn pretty quickly!
